This product is called FOOD GRADE diatomaceous earth (DE) . It is an all natural product that can be taken internally when mixed with water and can be used externally for the skin and for housecleaning and for pets. Make sure you do not inhale the very fine powder so that is does not get into your lungs, but other than that there are really not other issues with the powder.
