So why pearls? Pearls have long been know in history to be rare and of great value. The sheer process of how a pearl is formed is a true wonder in itself! When some organism or irritant invades the oyster or mollusk, the clam remains still and releases a substance that eventually forms a beautiful and rare jewel! I believe that it is the same for us, we deal with the annoyances and irritations of life often thinking that there is nothing good coming of it...until one day it is revealed to us that all along, all of the irritation, discomfort, and secret pain has formed something far greater and more precious inside of us...our pearls, the true riches of life.
